Benefits
Benefits with Genius LED:
Energy: LED lights consume between 30-50% of the energy as a fluorescent tube while providing the same illumination.
Long Life: LEDs operating lifetime exceeds 50,000 hours (5 years). This lifetime is defined as the time taken for the light output to drop by 30%. The failure is gradual and not sudden unlike other lighting.
Maintenance: The extended lifetime of LEDs provides for a negligible maintenance cost for 5+ years.
Safety: Running on a safe low DC voltage (12v/24volt), LEDs remove the risk of electric shock as compared to traditional voltage lighting. This low voltage operation also reduces the skills required to install and maintain LED fixtures. Non-hazardous LED lights are robust and do not risk exposure of toxic materials or chemicals. LEDs used for illumination do not generate ultra-violet light and therefore do not contribute to the deterioration of the products under display. In comparison, fluorescent tubes are made using fragile glass and contain mercury, which requires specialized toxic waste disposal.
Heat production: LEDs consume less power and generate less heat than traditional lighting. The even distribution of LED components across the light ensures that no hot-spots develop. The thermal management requirements of the LED panel have been designed into the LED light assembly.
Low temperatures: The light output from LEDs remains at 100% as temperature fall as low as -40?Celsius. LEDs will switch on instantly in all temperatures. In comparison, fluorescent lighting experiences problems with turning on and with reduced light output in low temperature environments. A visit to the frozen food section of your local supermarket will exhibit the problems with fluorescent lighting.
Color quality: LEDs are available in multiple tones of white plus the full colors of the spectrum. These can be chosen to create effect or pre-set for illumination. A better visual color rendition improves the appearance of products under display.
IR detector: Lighting can be setup so that it automatically switches on when a person is present and off when the area is empty. A dimmer can be incorporated to gradually bring the light on and prevent startling the person. This can be used to great advantage in store display cases.
Night time: With LEDs you can automatically illuminate display cases during re-stocking, with no need to illuminate the whole store.
Application: LED components are low profile and are manufactured onto circuit board assemblies that can be scaled to any length. This enables the lighting to be designed into the final application as opposed to designing the application around the available lighting. The low profile nature allows the lighting to be recessed in areas previously too confined for traditional lighting. Lights are supplied complete to include DC power supply, cables and accessories.

Energy Savings!!!
LED light bulbs consume only 1.5 to 10 watts of electricity ?that’s up to 1/30th of a typical incandescent light bulb. This translates into significant energy savings per bulb. Additionally, because LED light bulbs produce only a small fraction of the heat that regular light bulbs produce, with LED light bulbs you’ll generate less heat and save money in cooling as well.
The energy that you save will save you money and will help to save the environment! Do yourself and the Earth a favor today!

LED Brightness
The first impression you may get when you look directly at an LED light bulb is that it is too bright to look at. Yet the light produced by LED’s are highly focused, so the light is directional rather than dispersed. For this reason, LED’s are ideally suited for spot-lighting and directional lighting, while not yet ideal for general room lighting. Common uses for LED’s include display windows, track lighting, decorative lighting, traffic lights, automobiles and boats, yard lights and the like. LED technology continues to advance so that new applications are developing all the time.
